By far the most popular place for windsurfing in Aruba is located at Fisherman's Huts. There is a beautiful sandy beach with shallow water and heavy wind, its direction being off-shore and as result creating almost perfect flat water conditions.
On the northern coast is located Boca Grandi, a bay where are always great winds and perfect waves! The wind starts blowing usually late in the afternoon, after three o'clock, and consequently surfers have chance to enjoy there great action up to late in the evening.
Other surfing spots in Aruba, yet recommended to the more experienced surfers, are Westpunt, with really challenging wave conditions, and Balashi.

The ten-day competition attracts to this Caribbean island the most competitive professional windsurfers, as well as hundreds of amateurs!
